June

June is the month of farewells and thanks. It has been a great year in Kindergarten as we marvel at how much the children have grown. When we think back to the timid and sometimes frightened little ones trying to get used to all the routines, they have done well. Thanks to all the parents that helped with encouraging words and even some phonics homework. Thanks also to the parents that volunteered for class trips and work at home to make the year run smoothly. One last request...on June 11 (Thurs.)please send an extra bag for the children's belongings as their backpacks will be too small.

It has been an honor to be part of your child's journey and all the best for you and your families and you walk this road into the future.

In Christ,

April

April showers bring May flowers!!!Let's keep our fingers crossed that this will be true.Due to the wet playground please send extra dry clothes in case of an accident.

The Kindergarten phonological awareness program wraps up this Thurs. Apr. 9th and post-testing will begin. It was wonderful to see all the parents coming to class to observe their children and support them.

A few reminders of upcoming events. This Thurs. Apr 16th at 6:30 we are having our Learning Fair. The theme this year is art throughout the year. Come to school and enjoy the many lovely art displays around the school.

On Thurs. Apr.30th in the p.m. we will be going on a field trip to the Munroe library. Permission slips were set home on Fri. Apr.3 along with an application form for a library card if your child does not have one. Please return these forms ASAP as the library needs time to process the applications and have their card ready for Apr 30th. This trip is also a chance to acquire volunteer hours for parents.

June 2 will also be another chance for volunteer hours as we are going on a field trip to the Children's  Museum. Please mark your calendars.

Hope you had a HAPPY EASTER and that the risen Lord continues to "Easter" in your heart all year round. Peace to all.

January

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday and are ready for some new challenges.

We had our phonological awareness parent orientation on Jan. 8th and  many thanks to the parents who attended. Our first class begins next Thurs. Jan. 15th so watch your child's backpack for their homework. We appreciate your continued help as we work together to give your child the best start in their academic career.

Please remember to send your child to school with extra mitts and socks as they tend to get wet during the day.

All the best to you and your family in 2026 as we continue to pray for peace in this world.
